Over the last couple days I have had the pleasure to meet a couple really great bus drivers.
Gene Marsh, Merlo Garage Driver
Gene Marsh is one of the talkative drivers out of Merlo Garage I have ever met. He has wanted to see me for some time. When I met up with him on Sunday while he was driving the 58 line, I caught him off guard. He stated that he would never expect me to ride that bus since I’m out on the east side. I could not have asked for a better 58 driver, let alone a better driver out of Merlo. Gene is a great guy.
Tom Horton, Powell Garage Driver
Tom is overall a great guy, in my opinion. He speaks his mind. He wants change and will do what is necessary to legally get that change to happen. He is not scared of what the change might bring, he only wants what is best for the union. Keep up the great fight!
